The process, step by step

  1. 1

    Viewing

View the apartment in person and ask about the building, the finish and availability.

  2. 2

    Reservation

A €1,000 reservation fee holds the apartment. If at least two banks decline the loan application in writing, or the agreement falls through due to the seller’s fault, the fee is refunded.

  3. 3

    Bank approval

If you buy with a mortgage, the bank reviews the application and approves financing.

  4. 4

    Preliminary purchase agreement

After bank approval, you sign the preliminary purchase agreement with a 10% first payment.

  5. 5

    Handover

You pay the balance once the building is commissioned for use, the acceptance certificate is signed, the bank has released the funds and the land register entry is opened.

You receive a sample reservation agreement after the viewing, on request. It is not available for download on the site.
