Work moves to Alūksnes iela: utilities are in under the street, and the next building has its foundations.
Construction of the first building at Tilderu iela 2C is complete, all four families have moved in, and we are now working full speed on the next stage: Alūksnes iela.
At Alūksnes iela 2, two buildings will stand side by side, joined together, with eight apartments in total.
A street built in the right order
All the groundwork on Alūksnes iela is done: the topsoil is removed, the sewer, water main and power lines are in, and a gravel base is laid.
We are not laying the final surface, pavers or asphalt, yet, and that is a deliberate choice. We let all the construction work run its course first and only then finish the street, so the result is high quality and lasts.
Foundations for eight apartments
At Alūksnes iela 2, the crew handled excavation and concrete work, prepared separate spots for the heat pumps and started laying the insulation layer.
Every apartment will have its own heat pump, so we plan the spots for the outdoor units as early as the foundation stage.
